Procurement Engineer
Minimum Qualification
· BSc related to engineering, industry or business administrative.
· Minimum 5 years working experience related to industrial procurement
· Familiar with MENA area industrial procurement market
· Minimum 3 year procurement experience related to technical service contracts
Responsibilities:
· Sourcing new potential contractor or service provider for most of important services
· Lead and organize contractor or service provider s’ quotations or bidding proposals evaluation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the company, and to prepare evaluation report accordingly per SOPs.
· Prepare contracts for various procurements per available contract templates.
· Organize a daily, weekly monthly meeting with contractor and service provider and internal departments.
· Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to resolve any issue related to supply, quality, service, and invoicing if any.
· Evaluate performance of contractor or service provider based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met per relevant SOPs and the company’s expectations.
· Maintain and archive the documents properly in the shared drive and filing system.
· Prepare monthly summary report per requirements of Procurement Manager.
· Manage the existing contracts including following up, amendment, extension, renewal or retender.
· Implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
· Support any new development or project by collecting all supporting documents, budgetary offer, market survey or site visit.
· Complete any other task assigned by the management.
