Position Title: Research Logistics and Shipping Specialist
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 45K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
About the Client:
A prestigious international university in Abu Dhabi
Job Description:
- Coordinate the shipment of research materials to and from the university, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations and protocols
- Oversee the inventory of research materials ensuring accurate tracking, organization, and availability of supplies needed for research projects such as chemicals, laboratory items, etc.,
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, terms, and agreements for research material procurement. This includes coordinating orders, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues that may arise
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies governing the transportation and shipping of research materials, such as hazardous materials handling, import/export regulations, and ethical guidelines
- Work closely with researchers and various departments within the university to understand their specific logistics and shipping needs for research materials

Qualifications:
- 40 years old and below
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized
