الوصف الوظيفي
Job Purpose
- Responsible for operating and maintaining the cable lay equipment
Principal Accountabilities
- Repair any mechanical defect the equipment may experience during the offshore installation campaign as instructed by his supervisor
- Report detailed job activities to Cable Laying supervisor on daily basis
- Prepare all the items and accessories required for the cable laying scope are available onboard the barge
- Keep a well-documented log of all accessories which are mobilized with cable laying equipment
- In charge of dismantling and demobilization of the cable laying equipment and its maintenance during the idle period
- Compliance in accordance with Company codes and HSE standards
المهارات
Educational Qualifications, Certifications & Relevant Experience
- Secondary (10 years schooling) & a discipline-specific technical diploma with 5 years of relevant experience OR Secondary (10 years schooling) with 8 years of relevant experience
Competencies
- Knowledge and expertise in using/maintaining cable lay gears
- Good communication skills
