Cisco Instructor

We are currently seeking an online Cisco instructor To offer his services on our platform as a remote freelancer .

Note: This is a freelance position and payment will be made through our Mehna mobile application once services are requested by clients.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the design and development of all course materials and learning resources in a variety of formats including print, graphics, audio, video, animation and multimedia to support the unique teaching and learning of young learners;
2. • Develops instructional strategies and assessment techniques for the appropriate integration of instructional technologies and best practices in collaboration with Cisco and our community partners;
3. • Researches and makes recommendations on educational best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies and multimedia hardware/software to support the teaching and learning requirements as set forth by all stakeholders;
4. • Responsible for maintaining student records and compliance with the Department of Labor accountability standards for the grant;
5. • Implements and coordinates the Cisco Academy at Galveston College from inception to completion;
6. • As a Licensed Cisco trainer, serves as a liaison with Cisco on behalf of the Cisco Networking Academy at Galveston College;
7. • Ensures compliance with current requirements put forth by Cisco and community partners, including attending workshops, conferences, and training;
8. • Responsible for any match reporting on grants, and compliance documentation supporting work related grant, to community partners, and/or auditors;

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Willing and able to teach day or evening classes at a number of sites around the city;
2. Knowledge and skill in a variety of computer usage and software;
3. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse professional, community and student population;
4. Possess good organizational and planning skills;
5. Demonstrate sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities;
6. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in a learning-centered environment; and
7. Self-disciplined and able to effectively manage others.

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university in the Information Technology or required field

· Master's Degree preferred.

· Must be approved as a CISCO Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI).

Qualifications

Experience:

· 5+ years' in the field with experience in troubleshooting and maintaining operating systems

· 2+ years' experience developing technology curriculums

· 5+ years of instructional experience in teaching and similar field
