Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Guest Reservations Manager. As the Guest Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the reservations process, ensuring smooth and efficient operations, and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will lead a team of reservation agents, coordinating their activities and ensuring high standards of professionalism and guest satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Reservations Team: Supervise and mentor a team of reservation agents, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest level of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Reservation Operations: Oversee the entire reservations process, including handling guest inquiries, processing bookings, managing cancellations and modifications, and ensuring accurate and timely communication with guests and internal departments.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure guest satisfaction by promptly responding to guest queries and concerns, resolving issues effectively, and maintaining a high standard of service throughout the reservation process.
- Inventory Management: Monitor room availability and manage inventory to maximize revenue and occupancy levels. Implement strategies to optimize room utilization and increase overall revenue.
- Revenue Management: Collaborate with the sales and revenue management teams to develop pricing strategies, promotional offers, and packages to drive revenue and achieve business goals.
- Systems and Reporting: Utilize reservation management systems to track and analyze reservation data, generate reports, and identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments, such as Front Office, Sales, and Marketing, to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for reservation agents to enhance their skills, product knowledge, and customer service abilities. Keep the team updated on changes in policies, procedures, and promotions.
- Adherence to Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards, including data protection, privacy, and payment processing regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar role, such as Reservation Manager, Front Office Manager, or Guest Services Manager.
- Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems, revenue management tools, and OTA platforms.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using reservation management systems and MS Office Suite.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate reports.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
