Travel and Logistics Associate
Position Summary:
The Travel and Logistics Associate is a member of the Travel Logistics Division. He/she will be supporting the different programs in MENA hub by providing administrative support for the division in the implementation of travel and logistics related activities; maintaining and updating electronic records and databases; preparing documents – under the supervision of the Travel and Logistics Manager.
Major Responsibilities:
· Maintains and updates electronic records and databases:
o Add vendors on Costpoint
o Update Travelers information on Concur
o Updating group travelers’ information on the different systems to process per diem payments
· Support the team with adding payment documents for credit card reconciliations
· Screening travelers and vendors
· Fill travelers’ details to issue insurance letters
· Support virtual meetings, workshops, and trainings
· Assist with staff travel
· Search for vendors in different countries and ask for quotations
· Check visa and COVID requirements
The Travel and Logistics Associate needs to comply with USG regulations, funder requirements and internal policies/procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:
· Zero to two years of relevant work experience in project support, administrative and travel and/or event logistics management
· High school diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Solid critical thinking, writing and editing skills
- Excellent and effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds at all levels within the organization
· Strong time management skills
· Strong sense of teamwork and interpersonal skills to contribute to the culture of the organization: the T&L associate must interact with a wide range of individuals from various backgrounds at all levels within the organization.
