The assignment is to be implemented by a Hybrid vehicle maintenance trainer supervised by the project manager in Aqaba governorate. The Hybrid vehicle maintenance Trainer will be tasked for delivering training programs customized to meet the specific needs of the trainees. The trainer will also collaborate with other technical trainers to ensure that the training program adheres to industry standards and meets the evolving needs of the learners in a dynamic and rapidly changing job market.
Responsibilities
The Hybrid vehicle maintenance trainer will provide support to the project team to achieve the following objectives.
1. Assess the development and delivering training courses on hybrid vehicle maintenance, including lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practical exercises for students of varying skill levels.
2. Conduct research and keep up-to-date with industry developments in hybrid vehicle technology, regulations, and best practices in maintenance and repair.
3. Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and practical assessments and provide feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills.
4. Develop and implement comprehensive training programs that cover a range of topics related to hybrid vehicle maintenance, including diagnosis, repair, and preventative maintenance.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of trainee progress and communicate this information to center staff as needed, in order to ensure that the training program is meeting its objectives and to identify any necessary adjustments or improvements
6. Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, such as automotive manufacturers and dealerships, to keep up-to-date with the latest hybrid vehicle technology and practices, and to identify potential opportunities for collaboration and partnership.
7. Use different learning modalities and the ability to incorporate a range of teaching techniques into the training program.
8. Provide mentorship and support to students, including advising on career pathways and post-graduation opportunities.
9. Support the safety and well-being of all students and staff by adhering to health and safety regulations and best practices, and by identifying and reporting any safety concerns or hazards.
Qualifications
The Hybrid vehicle maintenance trainer has to fulfill the following criteria:
● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hybrid vehicle maintenance or related field.
l Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in hybrid vehicle maintenance and repair, with a proven track record of successful diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of hybrid vehicles.
● Experience with similar assignments.
● Able to take a collaborative approach as he she will work closely with project staff, partner staff, and other stakeholders throughout this assignment.
● Excellent communication and reports writing skills.
● Holds a ToT (Training of trainers) certificate.
● Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
● Fluency in English language, including strong reading, writing, and speaking skills, is a must for this position.
● Passion for teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals
● understanding of the systems and initiatives for vocational education and training
● The Candidate must be residing in Aqaba-Jordan.
Place of the assignment
The assignment will be carried out at the Aqaba governorate.
Time frame
This is a full-time position with a contract duration of 12 months.
