Consultancy objectives

The Cash for Protection on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Consultant will be responsible for providing technical assistance to ensure the efficient and effective implementation of cash-based interventions to protect survivors of gender-based violence in the target areas. The Consultant will provide support in designing and implementing cash-based protection activities, as well as in developing strategies to ensure that GBV survivors have access to adequate support.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical guidance on the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of cash-based protection activities.
2. Develop training modules related to cash for protection on GBV
3. Lead the capacity building of the local actors related to gender responsive and protection of the cash delivery system on GBV for local actors.
4. To guide the beneficiaries selection process
5. Monitor the cash delivery process and monitoring the impacts, according to the planning document and quality standards

Deliverables

1. Training modules on cash for protection on GBV for local actors.
2. Training activity report and attendance list
3. Cash protection program planning document, including the procedure for selection of beneficiaries, criteria, tools
4. Final beneficiaries list.
5. Cash protection program execution report

Activities

Activity

1. Adapt the training modules related to cash for protection on GBV from other resources/organisations (Cluster system, etc.) to create AAAR-APS modules consistent with the AA-APS approach.
2. Review the existing tools for CFP with the team (identification/selection, implementation and post monitoring).
3. Provide capacity-building training to local actors to increase their capacity to be gender-responsive and ensure the protection in the cash delivery system.
4. Establish the procedures, planning and criteria for the selection of beneficiaries.
5. Elaborate the cash protection programme document
6. Support the post-monitoring (PDM) process and elaborate the report of the results of PDM.
