Performance Management & Rewards Officer

Responsibilities:

1. Supervises / implements the salary survey study in the banking market (Jordan and Palestine) and any other regions and branches of the bank periodically, by participating with specialized companies, providing them with all the required data and verifying the analyzes and reports provided by these companies in order to reach results that reflect the actual reality regarding the bank's competitive position in the market.

2. Supervises the launch and implementation of salary survey studies in the banking market for any new markets in accordance with the directions of the bank's management, so as to ensure that this study is implemented in line with the methodology applied in the bank in general.

3. Examines and analyzes the results of the salary survey reports in order to prepare the study and presentation to the Director of the Human Resources Department, including the results, recommendations, scenarios and application criteria necessary to propose / amend any of the compensation, benefits, annual increases and bonuses for (Jordan and Palestine) and any other regions and branches of the bank (including costs and financial impact), and works to implement them and verify the safety of the implementation of these recommendations / scenarios based on the approvals of the management and the concerned committees and to ensure the preservation of the site Distinctive competitiveness in line with the data of the banking market.

4. Examines the applications for promotion and any amendments to salaries or benefits and related policies at the level of the Bank (Jordan and Palestine) and any other branches of the Bank, and submits the necessary recommendations in this regard to the Executive Director of the Human Resources Department for the necessary action.

5. Studying and reviewing employee incentive programs (at the level of all departments subject to the program) and conducting the necessary analyzes and periodically verifying the extent of their consistency and meeting the desired goal and adjusting them according to work requirements and in a way that meets the principle of justice and equality.

6. Contributes to the work of development projects that are applied at the level of the Human Resources Department according to the required work plan.

7. Follow up all concerned authorities in the implementation of the decisions issued by the Human Resources Committee.

8. Prepare studies related to compensation in terms of benefits and wages in proportion to the competitive conditions in the market to achieve the principle of equal opportunities internally and externally, according to the receipt of these studies / their request / work requirements, and submit their recommendations to the direct manager.

9. Supervises the Benefit Matrix by proposing/modifying any existing or new benefits in line with the approved job levels and in line with the competitive market data and submitting its recommendations to the line manager.

10.Participates in developing succession planning and planning for career path development, being part of developing career progression programs, and drawing career paths for individuals.

11.Participates and provides support in handling the performance management progress , by following up with all concerned departments, using the latest performance management tools available.

12.Participates in providing the required studies to HR policies and work flow, related to performance management , rewarding and employee retention.

Skills and competencies:

– University degree in the field of administrative or banking sciences or any related discipline.

– Practical experience for (3 ) years on the work of the job.

– Good level of knowledge of English.

– Knowledge of all human resources systems and procedures.

– Familiarity with the Jordanian Labor Law and its applications.

– Good knowledge of the procedures governing work and their updates (internal and external).

– Knowledge of the use of computers and dealing with different systems applied.

– Ability to communicate (verbally) and deal with others .
