General Ledger activities, monthly, quarterly, and annual closings and will be responsible for the corporate budget.
Client Details
Our client is a leading luxury retail group. They are looking to hire a fixed term contract Accountant.
Description
Month-end closing coordination and supervision: inventory, payroll, gratuity, IFRS16, asset depreciations, prepaid entries, re-class activities and intercompany reconciliationsPerforming monthly accounting reviewsPreparing monthly financial analysis and account reconciliationsWorking closely with Financial Controllers, AP and AR accountantsJune Closing – Reporting balance sheetPreparing mid-year ESR reportsAssisting Departments in accounting issues and queriesContributing to various accounting analyses between Balance Sheet and P&LCorporate Budget
Profile
You graduated with an Accounting degree or a Master's degree (major in Accounting and/or Finance)Significant General Ledger accounting and tax/ VAT experience – minimum 5 yearsGood knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS and reporting standardsAdvance level in Excel and all-round analytical skillsKnowledge of SAP will be a real advantageEnglish is a must and French would be a plusEnthusiastic person who can multitask and work efficiently under pressureStrong interpersonal communication and organization skills
