Planning and executing procurement strategies to ensure that the
necessary products and inventory levels to meet customer demand.
Creating purchase orders and managing procurement using Excel spreadsheets.
Analyzing sales data and forecasting future demand to ensure that adequate stock levels and is not overstocked.
Negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
Conducting market research and staying up-to-date with industry trends to identify new
products and suppliers.
Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to understand
customer needs and preferences.
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure on-time
delivery and high-quality products.
Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that arise.
Maintaining accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier contracts using
Excel.
Developing and implementing purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

*Advanced excel knowledge is a preferred for this role*

Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable prices and terms from suppliers.
Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with suppliers, colleagues,
and other stakeholders.
Analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze sales data, forecast demand, and make
data-driven purchasing decisions.
Strong organizational skills to manage inventory levels, track orders, and maintain
accurate records.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in purchase orders and records.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Customer-focused mindset to understand customer needs and preferences and ensure that the right products are available.
Proactive approach to identify new suppliers, products, and market trends.
Advanced excel knowledge is preferred.
