Way4 Instantiation Software Engineer
Responsibilities
- The most important thing while instantiating is the ability to identify changes that were promoted by QP or TARGET_STATE.
- Responsible for extracting the configuration using OPT_Z framework committed as part of QP’s.
- Responsible for committing the extracted changes to GIT.
- Responsible for Supporting the SIT, and UAT testing and fixing the defects by updating the QPs and committing the updated QPs.
- Assess the usability/reusability/cost-efficiency of the Petra/NICORE stack and request necessary improvements.
- Responsible for managing and maintaining the Instantiation changes in GIT.
Qualification
- GIT- Basic to Advanced
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge in SQL PLUS, SQL/PL, SQL.
- Basic knowledge of XML markup language.
- Experience in Batch Scripting.
- Basic knowledge of Way4.
- Ability to execute step-by-step instructions (Must show strong self-discipline to adhere to processes and not take shortcuts).
- Strong written and spoken English proficiency to discuss with clients and BA.
- Basic presentation skills with the ability to coherently describe processes and ideas.
Technical Skills
- Bash Scripting- Professional Proficiency (Can be trained to intermediate via Udemy).
- SQL- Basic to Intermediate (Can be trained via Udemy).
- Yaml- Basic (Can be trained internally).
- Bamboo- Basic (Can be trained internally).
- Git- Basic (Can be trained internally).
