Telecom Engineer (FTTH Designer)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Engineer and design FTTH and other OSP design types following industry standards and customer specified methods and procedures (both high /low level design).
• Utilize the following design tools & software: AutoCAD, ArcGIS & Ericsson Network Engineer (Telecom Physical Inventory Management System).
• Produce a detailed BOM/BOQ.
• Report on all Infrastructures related issues and site survey output.
• Clean customer provided base maps as required.
• Interact internally with other engineers to ensure proper implementation of project & quality is maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months general practical experience.
• Outside Plant (OSP) Telecoms, Civil & Cable work experience.
• Knowledge in GIS technology and industry using ESRI suite of products is a plus
• Strong Analytical skills, strategic thinking & Good Communication Skills.
• Self-driven and initiative.
• High sense of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
• Result Oriented.
• Ability to Travel if needed.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunication Engineering or relevant major.
