Operations Manager – Nursery
Description:
Reporting to – the nursery principal and the CEO of the company
Will be located Al Safa 2.
Responsibilities:
Attracting potential parents to the nursery is a vital element of everyone’s role in the nursery and as one of the first points of contact in the reception and on the phones, this is especially important.
Follow up via email, WhatsApp and phone potential new students and support families liaise with Nursery Principal as needed
will be responsible for fee collection and petty cash
Keep an updated waited list of potential families wanting to join the nursery
Arrange zoom tours and introduction meetings with teachers for new families
Conduct tours as needed and be a key figure during open days – when possible.
Carefully checking registration forms and documents needed for registration and that they are up to date.
Updating class lists for all stakeholders including contact details and emergency contacts.
Allocating and requesting Parental Log in on the app and overseeing its use.
Follow up on missing items in children file frequently to ensure we are keeping accurate records on all children
Handover and settling meetings arranging and involved as needed
Contacting parents before each term starts with information regarding new term.
Responsible for all payment collection from parents and all new registrations.
Accountable to Principal/Owner for fee data
Create and maintain spreadsheets to record payments and follow up as needed.
Work with HR administrator for purchasing of nursery supplies
Supervising attendance of children and staff
Review all observations done by teachers and keep check on observation tally – informing principal
Allocate staff timings, transport, breaks as needed for the nursery team.
To compile timetables if required and supervise that lunch times are adhered to in consultation with Head Nurse
Ensure sufficient staff are available to supervise when they are in the setting
Reviewing and adding new policies to manual
Support Nursery Principal with all tasks and requests delegated
The post holder directly reports to the Nursery Principal and Nursery Owner
Delegate tasks to reception team as suitable
The ideal candidate would possess:
Proven customer service experience
Degree in relevant field
People skills to create a warm, family welcome to the nursery
Excellent organization, time-management and teamwork skills
Ability to connect and support parents and our team of staff
Excellent MS Office skills
Efficient and organised
Able to follow policies and procedures, meeting all government criteria and legislation
A highly articulate communicator with excellent written English skills

Working hours and salary:
Working hours: 7.30 am – 5 pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary range: 10,000-12,000 dhs per month (depends on experience and qualifications)
