Agrimatco Ltd, a unique international agricultural distribution company, starts searching for an experienced General Manager to join our family in Iraq.
Agrimatco Ltd operates in 49 countries. Our areas of activity include distribution of crop protection, specialty fertilizers, seeds, veterinary products, agricultural machineries & tools as well as public health products.
Job Summary:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the company in Iraq in order to meet set business objectives and targets. The General Manager drives the company to reach desired sales results, profitability, market share and geographic coverage. Furthermore, the General Manager is responsible for maintaining the company financial position & indicators in line with business objectives and within the general policy of the Group.
Education: Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Agronomy, or any other related field
Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in the same field, with minimum 2 years of experience as a General Manager or equivalent in an Agriculture Distribution Company.

Job Description
- Develop the company strategic and operational plans to ensure steady and continual growth of the company.
- Drives the company to reach desired sales results, market share and geographic coverage.
- Accountable for P&L Plan. Organize and control all operations in a manner which effectively delivers plans and business outcomes.
- Deliver sales and business development activities according to the plan.
- Liaise with new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by the company.
- Maintain collection and debt ages at acceptable levels and maintain an acceptable balance of goods at the end of the year in line with the general policy of the company.
- Conduct the risk analysis of assigned operations and manage it in collaboration with the company staff.
- Ensure all company sections are properly staffed and well equipped to perform duties effectively.
- Monitor the market and proactively identify growth opportunities.
- Develop strategies to improve overall quality and productivity.
