Associate Professor in The Faculty of Education & Arts

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POST INCLUDE:

• A recognized PhD in faculty related major.
• The candidate should be able to teach a range of courses in the discipline.
• The candidate should have teaching experience at least one year.
• The candidate should have well and considerable publication record in well-respected international journals and conferences.
• The ability to work in a team with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good research experience.
• Good IT skills.

PACKAGE:

• Attractive salary commensurate with qualifications/experience + housing and
• transportation allowance.
• Medical insurance for Omani staff (grant for staff only).
• Medical insurance for Non- Omani staff, spouse and 2 children under 18 living in Oman.
• Two year contract renewable subject to mutual agreement between the two parties (for
• non-Omani).
• Seven weeks paid annual leave and return air travel for staff, spouse and 2 children under 18 to country of origin.
• End of contract gratuity (for non-Omani).
