Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interior & Exhibitions Estimator who will be responsible for estimating and costing interior and exhibition design projects. The successful candidate will have a background in civil engineering with an in-depth understanding of AutoCAD and interior and exhibition designs, materials used, and costs associated with such projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful project estimates and cost control.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural drawings and specifications to accurately estimate project costs and materials required
Collaborate with project managers, architects, designers, and vendors to ensure accurate cost estimation
Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of materials, costs, and labor requirements for interior and exhibition design projects
Analyze and evaluate bids from vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and accuracy
Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and project budgets for clients and stakeholders
Monitor project costs and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to ensure financial targets are met
Conduct research on new materials and technologies to ensure that the most cost-effective and innovative solutions are used in each project
Participate in project meetings to provide input and support to the design and construction teams
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards, including health and safety regulations

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, interior and exhibition design concepts, and materials used

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
