Black & Grey HR is hiring for a Construction Business in the UAE, who are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Engineer for a construction company. Our client is looking to hire a Estimator with fit out background who will be responsible for analyzing plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs.
<br />
<br />- Ensure completeness of documents and drawings required for the tender
<br />- Study all aspects related to the tender- Conduct a quantity take off to verify bills or quantify the works
<br />- Pre-tender negotiations with major suppliers and subcontractors
<br />- Preparation of all documents according to the procedures for tender submission- Send out enquiries for pricing
<br />- Addressing queries to the consultant for the clarification of any ambiguities/ passing on information to the subcontractors & suppliers where necessary.
<br />- Conduct pre-tender site visits
<br />- Prepare rate built-up of rates and prices for review by Senior
<br />- Update pricing database and monitor productivity and ensure the project is executed as per budget.
<br />- Prepare bid summaries with technical and price comparison.

<br />Requirements
<br />- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Quantity Surveying
<br />- Minimum of 5 years of UAE experience in a similar position with a Fit-Out background
<br />- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
<br />- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
<br />- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
<br />- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
<br />- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
