Our client is a renowned and key player in the Abu Dhabi landscape. We are actively looking for an FP&A Manager to join its Abu Dhabi office.
It operates in over 10 countries with over a decade of experience in the region. As the FP&A Manager you will get a chance to be a part of a fast paced and dynamic work environment. The role reports directly into the FP&A Director which will help you enhance your skills and grow with the organization.
Description
Make sure that functional strategies are effectively transmitted into department business plansAssure that all the Planning and Budgeting activities are carried out in accordance with the authorized parametersMonitor the variances in the Financial performance in comparison to the budgetEnsure that all reports are prepared promptly and accurately and in adherence to the companies policies and standardsAssess the investment prospects on the basis of financial, strategic, operational and other factorsBe a role model for other employees in the allocated department and encourage adherence to the organization's ethics and values in order to promote a value-driven culture there.Oversee the efficient coordination of all business partners in order to produce jointly determined key performance indicators (KPIs) in accordance with the overall business strategyEnsure effective implementation of policies, procedures and control for all assigned departmentsManage the creation of the budget forecasts for the designated division based on the organisation's corporate plans, anticipated revenues/costs, and capital investments, in order to guarantee that budget forecast activities are accurate and dependableLead the timely presentation of the consolidated budget to the right parties to guarantee correctness, completeness, and proper budget justifications.Review and track the creation of financial reports based on financial planning, projecting, and forecasting in a timely, accurate manner.Supervise and oversee the creation of periodic financial statements and their assessment to advise management of the financial standing of the designated division.
Profile
CA / CFA (or equivalent) is requiredMinimum of 10 years of experience in the finance function – predominantly in FP&ARecent and extensive experience in Utilities / Power / Energy is mandatoryPrevious experience with financial modelling for evaluating investment opportunities is requiredEnglish should be masteredHaving an experience within a multicultural and international environment is required
