الوصف الوظيفي

Purpose:

Facility and Safety Supervisor is mainly responsible to supervise facility and safety operations to ensure and promote health and safety in the workplace and co-ordinate preventive maintenance based on Facility, Health & Safety measures.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise facility and admin officer, custodians, technicians, groundskeepers and external contractors on daily basis to guarantee that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures.
  • Supervise implementation of safety programs and protocols for the facility, including emergency plans, evacuation procedures, and accident prevention measures.
  • Supervise overall maintenance for equipment’s, machinery, and infrastructure.
  • Execute facility and expansion projects based on determined scope, budget, timeline, parties and approvals.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with other departments, contractors, and vendors to ensure that all aspects of the facility's operation are running smoothly.
  • Review reports of site progress on daily basis. And provide summary for Facility Manager on weekly basis.
  • Follow up on installations implementation (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments.
  • Review service proposals contracts and negotiate pricing by following procurement policy and procedure.
  • Review risk assessment inputs and assist in highlighting risks and follow up on corrective actions implementation. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations, identify potential hazards and minimize risk.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.
  • Supervise ESG planned activities and coordinate with internal & external stakeholders for smooth execution.
  • Search for local suppliers, maintain up to date supplier’s list and negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
  • Enhance Facility and Safety training manuals.
  • Maintain the financial administration of the office including raising purchase orders, reconciling invoices, monitoring expenditure against budget, follow up outstanding payments, and liaise with the finance team upholding accurate financial record keeping.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, maintenance and repair activities, and other relevant data.
  • Perform other job-related and responsibilities as assigned by direct manager.

المهارات

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Facility & Admin, Procurement, Health & Safety or relevant fields.
  • Intermediate English Language (B2).
  • Competent in local laws related governmental rules, regulation and practices.
  • Competent in Project Management and Project Controls.
  • Applicable knowledge in procurement and logistics related policies and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office packages.

Education Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, logistics or equivalent.
  • Occupational Health and Safety Certification.
  • Procurement Certificates, CSCE is a plus.
