- Determine quality, cost, strength, and quantity of required materials, and enter figures on materials lists.
- Work closely with production or construction teams to clarify design requirements and make necessary changes.
- Check rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other engineering data received from civil engineers for adherence to design concepts.
- Liaise with production or construction teams to ensure drawings are understood and implemented correctly.

- Critical-thinking skills.
- Solid foundation in mathematics with the ability to apply it to technical designs.
- Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles.
- Proficient in technical skills required for the job.
- Auto-cad, Corel draw, photoshop, 3d and 2d design, tracing and creating pattern
