Data Analyst
Job Description
The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing business cases by creating/generating trend analysis reports. The data analyst is responsible for pulling data points from different source systems in order to translate data inquiry business cases. The data analyst is a resource that is fully aware of data models and requirements to build data models in case the models are not available.
Responsibilities:
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize data in preparation for the generation of statistical and analytical reports.
• Document and record data definitions and structure as well as specifications for business intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Work with technical experts to guide the creation of reporting dashboards reflecting KPIs and key trends.
• Perform data profiling and process analysis to understand key source systems and using knowledge of application features and functions to assess scope and impact of business needs.
• Act as the first point of contact to answer all business data queries
• Drive and support your designated business unit by converting complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills and a passion to work with large sets of data.
Expert in excel ( Microsoft office)
Passionate about learning new technologies and working on a product of massive scale and impact.
Self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to get hands-on in a complex operational environment.
Must be process orientated and a logical thinker with good attention to detail
