Job Purpose
To support and provide Early Intervention Services to Kindergarten Children in an inclusive setting. To Ensure that all kindergarten Children are being equipped with a strong foundation to better prepare them for grade-school. Through the Early Intervention Program, the occupational therapist’s role is to support children’s physical, cognitive, and emotional development. Additionally, they are to support children in acquiring independence in daily living skills. Through this program, the occupational therapist will support children in their academic and social performance, including but not limited to fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, attention, motor planning, eye-hand coordination, emotional regulation & behavioral management. Moreover, the occupational therapist’s task is to help create an optimal and inclusive classroom environment to meet the various learning needs of all children. Roles and Responsibilities: |
