The King Hussein Foundation is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of “Fundraising and Proposal-Writing Manager”
Duties and Responsibilities
– Design and implement a fundraising strategy.
– Conduct extensive local and global research to identify fundraising opportunities and potential donors.
– Create and monitor a database of existing and potential donors.
– Ensure compliance with donor’s requirements by analyzing all types of funding opportunities including Solicitations, SOQs, RFQs, RFPs, and ITBs.
– Coordinate with the KHF departments to assemble materials and manage the entire proposal process from start to submission; in addition to managing donors’ portals.
– Prepare proposals and concept notes for local/international donors’ community including content, logical framework or/and theory of change, graphics, page layout, and design.
– Establish good relationships with prospective donors across multiple sectors.
– Prepare presentations to deliver to potential donors and key stakeholders.
General Qualification
– Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or other related fields.
– 5+ years of proven experience in writing proposals for NGOs.
– Fluency in English- written and spoken.
– Proficiency in MS Office skills.
– Strong research and analytical skills.
– Strong communication and networking skills.
– Ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced, challenging, and deadline-driven environment.
