The Sales Development Manager is responsible for planning and executing all sales activities to achieve or exceed set targets. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market intelligence and competitor activities and proactively recommend appropriate action. Develop/maintain strong working relationships internally and externally.
Represent the company in relevant shows, networking events, and business meetings.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities
• Constantly maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of the company’s entire product range and services
• Plan and execute an effective sales strategy to achieve the set targets/goals in accordance with the priority list outlined and discussed with the principles.
• Develop/maintain a comprehensive customer database and proactively utilize it in sales tactics and product awareness initiatives
• Gather/monitor market intelligence and competitor activities and suggest an appropriate plan to manage any influencing trends
• Clearly assess and identify customer needs to ensure customer
satisfaction
• Constantly maintain an active after-sales plan
• Develop/maintain a strong working relationship internally and externally. Prioritize existing and long-term partners and ensure all their needs are met
• Participate in relevant shows and networking events where the company is involved and enhance our community's public relationships
• Suggest innovative ideas and proactively deploy strategies to increase market share and revenues
• Serve as the sales point of contact for customers, sales process, and contracts
• Execute, support, and liaise internally on any projects initiated
• Support the management in any service recovery or crisis communication challenges
• Support in the implementation of any marketing functions and LT brand events
• Submit a monthly report outlining action is taken, planned activities, financial gains, and a calendar of ongoing and future events

Requirements
• Advanced analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
• Working knowledge and understanding of the principles and processes of computerized business and operating systems.
• Ability to gather data, compiles information, and prepare reports.
• Knowledge and understanding of integrated program planning and development.
• Skills in examining and re-engineering sales operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and practices.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, interprets sales and operational needs and develops integrated and creative solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various individuals and constituencies in a diverse community.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to professional personnel in their area of expertise.
• Should have experience in interacting and follow-ups with corporate sales specifically.
• Should have a hard-core experience in service industry sales & a target-oriented environment.
