Finance Manager

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
  • Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
  • Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process, and conduct monthly financial forecasts.
  • Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the organization’s business performance.
  • Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
  • Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including
  • Create and review policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce
  • Compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Advice colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
  • Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
  • Create strategic business plans based on analyzing the company’s status and financial forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
  • Strongly demonstrated the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
