Finance Manager
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organization.
- Make estimates of funds required for the short and long-term financial objectives of the organization.
- Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process, and conduct monthly financial forecasts.
- Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Strategize on fund procurement through banks and other financial institutions.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the organization’s business performance.
- Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
- Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities of the organization.
- Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance department including
- Create and review policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
- Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor, and enforce
- Compliance with tax and financial reporting standards and assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Advice colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
- Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
- Create strategic business plans based on analyzing the company’s status and financial forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis.
- Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners.
- Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools such as SQL, Access, etc.
- Strongly demonstrated the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
