Project quality

  • To help in ensuring the quality of implemented projects through reporting follow up, results monitoring, context monitoring, lessons learned and knowledge management, tools development and tracking financial, and Project achievement
  • To work closely with the Program managers and the WASH coordinator in coordinating information exchange and timely support.
  • Collect information from the bases, clusters and other secondary sources and assist in the quality analysis of the activities carried out with the WASH Coordinator

Coordination, technical support and operational monitoring

  • Together with the WASH coordinator, set objectives and specific and general indicators in order to assess and monitor the impact of the programs and to reshape them if necessary
  • Support WASH coordinator and program managers for carrying out and/or supervising task and resource planning over time, developing context analysis, compiling best practices and systematizing across the bases, according to the objectives which have been set
  • Monitor the development of current programs (progress, suitability and effectiveness) and regular update to WASH coordinator
  • Together with the WASH coordinator, ensure and approve quality and adherence to guidelines and due dates set in any contractual documents (proposal, intermediate and final reports…)
  • Ensure that local communities are closely involved in project implementation and that the relationship between Solidarités International and local communities remains harmonious, together with Program managers
  • Together with the WASH coordinator, be involved in the review and follow-up of the different operational follow ups and support in various SoP and Quality standard checklists

Strategic orientation

  • The Assitant WASH coordinator takes part to the development and implementation of Solidarités International technical strategy in the country.
  • To participate in preparation of assessment methodology and reporting formats as specified in the Tool Box to ensure timely and high quality information analysis and recommendation
  • To participate in humanitarian needs identification and analysis and in the conceptualization of appropriate activities in collaboration with targeted communities
  • To participate in and draft project ideas, concept notes and proposals for funding.

Knowledge management

  • Reporting: To ensure that project files are complete and regularly updated with periodic reporting and monitoring information and communications.
  • Coordination: To participate in information collection, through development of a network of humanitarian stakeholders

Reporting / communication / representation

  • To participate in prepare preparing project and WASH program reports weekly, Monthly, including compiling of 4W reports from all bases) and other reports as necessary, together with analysis and recommendations
  • Compile the activity sheets provided in the Tool box form the different bases
  • Participate to the Consolidation …activity… activity reports and supervise the preparation annexes linked to …activity… activities for reports and/or financial donors with the Program Coordinator
  • Represent the organization when asked and/or delegated to do so
  • In conjunction with the WASH Coordinator, establish and maintain a communication network and good relations with local/government authorities, financial donor representatives, UN agencies and other international agencies
  • ·Support the WASH coordinator and the program on SOV, contract administration.

المهارات

  • BSC/M.SC- in Water resources, Civil Engineering or any relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 Years Experience in WASH projects, preferably in INGO
  • Knowledgeable on Syria context
  • Excellent in Cutting edge technologies (CAD, Epanet) and MS office
  • Skilled in data management, analysis and report writing
  • Strong communication, analysis and writing skills.
  • Commitment to beneficiary accountability and humanitarian principles.
  • Fluency in Arabic and good English language skills (spoken and written)
