The Role:
The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliation, Online banking, and payment operations. The position reports to Group CFO & the Senior Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Review the entries & Validate them into the accounting system for CFI Jordan and its sister entities
- Preparing and maintaining financial reports
- Follow up on all client transactions & book them into the accounting system
- Follow up the company's purchase invoices and prepare expense analysis on a monthly basis
- Ensuring the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant agreements
- Accurately perform daily reconciliations for clients' transactions & corporate transactions
- Assist in end-of-week/month close procedures
- General Accounts and other duties requested by the Senior Finance Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or any related field
- Fluency in Arabic & English
- Ability to work in different shifts (Sunday-Thursday) or (Monday-Friday)
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in financial accounting
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly demanding environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Good Knowledge of the financial brokerage field
- Excellent Knowledge of the online banking system and payment instructions, B2B and B2C.
- Good Knowledge of International Markets (FX, Equities, Commodities, etc…)
- Excellent planning and organizing workload skills
- Excellent accounting software user
- Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
- Team player with good communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage working under pressure
- Fast learner, and able to take responsibility and take actions when and where needed
