JOB PURPOSE
To deliver high quality technical support, system and data maintenance across a range of areas, in order to contribute to the effective delivery of IT services.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)
Under the direct supervision of IT Solution Associate, the incumbent will perform the following duties: –
- Assists with maintaining an inventory of organizational needs and requirements, and assists with reports and communication
- Assists with process improvement mechanisms, data acquisition and data cleansing
- Assists in maintaining databases, with data collection efforts, create statistics
- Assists with the identification and analysis of patterns in data using standard techniques
- Assists with the preparation of data sets and responds to queries; and maintains/updates web pages.
- Assist in data visualization.
- Create and maintain software documentation
- Assist in integrate data from various back-end web services and databases
- Responsible for maintaining information records such as updating web pages and statistical databases to ensure the information is current and well organized.
- Respond to a variety of queries about technology and systems in order to assist WFP staff to deliver their services.
- With support of senior colleagues, provide standard training to end users of technology and systems to ensure staff use standard technology and systems effectively.
- Work with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities to improve the WFP IT services and products
- Have good understanding of beneficiaries’ information and transfer management.
- Perform other related duties as required.
STANDARD MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: A diploma/degree with related functional area.
Experience:
- At least five years of progressively responsible job-related experience in information technology, information management, data science or solution development.
- Experiences with PostgreSQL, Tableau, SPSS, Phython, PHP, React, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, MongoDB, Foundry, AWS, SugarCRM would be beneficial.
Language: Fluency in English language (level C) or intermediate knowledge (level B).
