CONTEXT

Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is running a reconstructive surgery program in Amman, which opened in 2006, is giving access to reconstructive surgery (orthopedic, plastic and maxilo-facial) to war wounded people and providing comprehensive health care. MSF aims at identifying and referring patients from neighboring countries (Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and other countries with conflicts) then ensuring their medical follow-up after discharge.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the outdoor premises of the reconstructive Surgery Hospital / AMH, operating, monitoring, maintaining, and trouble-shooting the Water Hygiene Sanitation (Watsan) facility and its processes, according to hygiene and sanitation standards and MSF protocols, in order to ensure a proper functioning of Watsan activities to improve the health conditions of the target population

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performing the Watsan day-to-day activities such as collecting and sorting wastes before disposal, keeping the incinerator in good working order, ensuring the cleaning and correct hygiene status of the latrines, cleaning the water storage and treatment tanks, etc.
• Knowing and applying security and hygiene standards regarding the operation of WHS infrastructure, taking care of his/her own safety.
• Informing the line manager and/or technical adviser of any incidents that might compromise his/her (or that of others) safety or security.
• Ensuring the availability and correct usage of all material and equipment

PROFILE

• Essential reading and writing
• Experience is not required
• Local language essential. Mission language desirable.

WORK LOCATION: Amman – Al Mowasah hospital – Northern Marka

CONTRACT: (6) months renewable.

لذلك يقوم مستشفى أطباء بلا حدود للجراحة الترميمية في عمان بتوظيف عامل نظافة وإصلاح بيئي.

الوصف الوظيفي :

داخل المباني الخارجية لمستشفى الجراحة الترميمية / مستشفى المواساة، تشغيل ومراقبة وصيانة واستكشاف أخطاء المياه والصرف الصحي المنشأة وعملياتها ، وفقًا لمعايير النظافة والصرف الصحي وبروتوكولات منظمة أطباء بلا حدود، من أجل ضمان حسن سير أنشطة عامل الأصلاح البيئي لتحسين الظروف الصحية للأشخاص المعنيين.

المهام الوظيفية

• القيام بالأنشطة اليومية مثل جمع النفايات وفرزها قبل التخلص منها، والحفاظ على المحرقة في حالة عمل جيدة، وضمان التنظيف والنظافة الصحيحة للمراحيض، وتنظيف خزانات المياه وخزانات المعالجة، إلخ.

• معرفة وتطبيق معايير الأمن والنظافة فيما يتعلق بتشغيل البنية التحتية WHS ، والاهتمام بسلامته / سلامتها.
• إبلاغ المدير المباشر و / أو المستشار الفني بأي حوادث قد تهدد سلامته / سلامتها (أو سلامة الآخرين) أو أمنه.
• ضمان توافر جميع المواد والمعدات واستخدامها بشكل صحيح.

متطلبات الوظيفة:

• اجادة القراءة والكتابه
• لا يشترط الخبره
• لغة محلية اساسية

موقع العمل: مستشفى المواساة، ماركا الشمالية، عمان، الأردن.

مدة العقد: (6) أشهر قابل للتجديد.

تاريخ البدء: اقرب وقت ممكن .
