The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various administrative, operational, and creative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
-General administration
• Provide assistance to the day-to-day operations of the art gallery.
• Manage the gallery's schedule and calendar, workshops and events.
• Maintain the gallery's inventory and supplies, including ordering and restocking materials as needed.
• Assist in marketing and promotional efforts, including social media, email newsletters, updating gallery website and other outreach.
• Provide customer service to clients and general public, including answering questions and providing assistance as needed.
• Help with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and tracking expenses.

Qualifications:
• A passion for the arts and a desire to support and promote creativity in others.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, as well as social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
• The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others.
• Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework in art or a related field is preferred.
• 1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience, preferably in a creative environment such as an art studio or gallery.
• Experience with event planning and marketing is a plus.
