As a Florist & Balloon Specialist, you will be responsible for creating floral arrangements and balloon designs for various events and occasions. This position requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for working with flowers and balloons.

Responsibilities:

Create floral arrangements: You will be responsible for creating floral arrangements such as bouquets, centerpieces, and corsages. This will require knowledge of different types of flowers, their colors, and textures, as well as the ability to arrange them in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

Design balloon decorations: You will also be responsible for designing balloon decorations such as arches, stands and decorations. This will require knowledge of different types of balloons, their sizes, and colors, as well as the ability to create designs that fit the event or occasion.

Customer service: You will be interacting with customers on a daily basis, taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring that their needs are met. This will require excellent communication and customer service skills.

Maintain inventory: You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels of both flowers and balloons, ensuring that supplies are ordered as needed and that the shop is well-stocked.

Clean and maintain equipment: You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining equipment such as vases, shears, and balloon pumps, ensuring that they are in good working order.

Handle payments: You will be responsible for processing payments from customers, using a cash register or other payment processing system.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Creativity and an eye for design

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and take direction

Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects such as vases and balloon weights

Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
