Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with the Campus Director and the company the Pedagogical Lead develops and implements an organization-wide pedagogical strategy for the 42 AMMAN program.
  • Establish mechanisms and processes in coordination with the Campus Director that ensure we deliver a high-quality program in compliance with 42 requirements. This includes giving developmental feedback to colleagues at all levels on best teaching, coaching, and learning practices.
  • Gathering the latest pedagogical developments and updates on the school curriculum from 42 teams in Paris.
  • Meet, mentor, lead and inspire amazing students ready to be the next generation of coders.
  • Give back to the community and help grow and train the next generation by sharing his/her knowledge of technology and IT and Code in a disruptive and unconventional way.
  • Have the flexibility and the open mind to coach on what he/she is most comfortable with and learn new things along the way.

Qualifications/ Skills

  • Essential – Bachelor's or technical Degree in Computer Science, IT
  • Essential – Analytical mindset and patience to coach and aspire trainees.
  • Essential – Working in teams with creative and innovative spirit.
  • Essential – A credible IT Developer profile with the ability to influence and inspire the younger generations
  • Essential – English proficient, Arabic Native
  • Desirable – he/she has already experience in teaching coding in the private sector and conducting Coding Bootcamp
  • Desirable – Experience in training adults on IT/Coding and pedagogical practice.
  • Desirable – Experience in building strong positive relationships within his/her own team person
  • Passion for IT and Code.
  • Very good Communicator.
  • The Education Coach is an IT Developer, open-minded and curious with good pedagogical skills and 1 to 2 years of experience.
  • The Education Coach has the flexibility and curiosity to find answers along with students, the coach does not necessarily know everything upfront.
  • He/she encourages a culture of innovation and open-mindedness.
  • He/she is committed to professional development and the development of others
