Campus Director

Responsibilities

Strategic and Budgetary Planning

1. In consultation with the Program Partner’s Executives, develop a strategic plan for the school, including preparing a staffing and resource plan.

2. Review the school's performance in terms of its objectives as stated in its strategic plan and its staffing and resource plan.

3. Having responsibility for all financial matters, including financial planning and sustainability, resource allocation, the identification of new sources of income, the monitoring of expenditure to ensure that it is within appropriate levels, ensuring the linking of resource allocation to strategic and operational planning; compliance with the approved financial policies; ensuring all staff is aware of the existence and extent of the financial regulations.

4. Managing and monitoring of the implementation of the resource allocation process within the school.

5. Building partnerships with Jordan IT sector and ensuring continuous collaboration and addressing coding needs of the sector, supporting employment of graduates locally and globally.

6. Support fundraising actions to ensure sustainability and continuity of the school42 -Amman. This include overseeing and guiding promotion and marketing activities and campaigns.

Staffing

7. Lead the team of school42 -Amman, being a role model for commitment and motivated for the new model.

8. Deal with staff recruitment matters that fall within the remit of the school.

9. Create a supportive working environment for all staff in the school and foster their career development.

10. Allocate duties to staff within the school and the management of staff in accordance with the adopted policies and procedures.

11. Handle grievance procedures for staff.

12. Manage relevant disciplinary procedures for both staff and students.

Teaching, Learning, and Research

13. Overall responsibility for managing the school's education program and recruiting the Pedagogical Lead.

14. Promoting a culture of learning that is directed to student needs that are informed by the research interests of the school staff.

15. Dealing with professional matters relevant to the activities of disciplines and, in particular, the educational requirements of professional accreditation bodies.

16. Promoting collaboration with other institutions, corporate, and the school Network campuses.

General

17. Representing the School both internally and externally.

18. Managing and encouraging an information flow to staff and students within the school regarding school developments and IT/Digital market-related.

19. Ensuring the effective operation of the school by approved governance procedures: design and deliver all operational processes for the students and the staff.

20. The general management, subject to adopted policies regarding the school's physical facilities and equipment, includes allocating rooms and other space.

21. Overall responsibility for ensuring that the school's arrangements comply with legal requirements and related College policies such as health and safety, data protection and retention policy, and freedom of information (Jordanian laws).

22. Create programs and challenges that are as effective and efficient as possible with local or international companies

23. Managing budget planning according to fundraising stakeholders and supporting fundraising activities

English and Arabic: speaking and writing (preferably fluent in both languages)
