Supports the process of recruitment for ENOC and its subsidiaries based upon the increased requirements in an efficient and expeditious manner. Plans, schedules and monitors all aspects of recruitment activity. Ensures that the selection process of candidates is in line with overall HR policy of the organisation. Manages employee recruitment procedures within the framework of ENOC’s human resources policy and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities
· Works with HR Managers and Line Managers in ensuring personnel or hiring needs are met with in an optimal manner.
· Implements the strategy for sourcing people for any position; including advertising/ headhunting/using agencies: method of selection to be used, setting up interviews/assessment centres, testing of candidates and obtaining line approval on selected candidates.
· Decides in conjunction with the divisional HR Managers and line managers, on the methods of selection providing guidance as to the available alternatives.
· Tracks the effectiveness of the selection methods used over a period of time and suggests changes as required.
· Contracts and coordinates with external agencies for recruitment.
· Fulfills the manpower requirements according to the organizational priority by recruitment after agreeing strategies for recruitment.
· Develops proposals and cost analysis for recruitment campaigns and obtains approval for the same from line management.
· Coordinates the necessary occupational testing procedures, medical evaluations and employee orientation activities.
· Based upon as agreed grade, salary and terms and conditions, gets offers of appointment/ contracts drawn up, obtains sign offs from appropriate authorities, makes offers to selected candidates, negotiates within given limits and obtains their acceptance of the offer. Determines their date of joining within acceptance limits by respective departmental managers.
· Provides generalist services including preparation of recruiting materials, application review and evaluation, and preparation and evaluation of written and practical tests.
· Handles the development and revision of classified recruitment specifications.
· Coordinates requests for temporary staffing services and monitors of extra-help staff hours.
· Ensures that the contractor complies with all requirements adequately and as delineated in the contract.
· Interprets the administrative implications on recruitment and testing as a result of changing legislative and regulatory requirements and prepares related reports makes necessary changes.
· Analyses various issues and problems related to overall recruitment activities and prepares reports.
· Provides activity reports on recruitment to management on a monthly basis.
· Maintains the Application Tracking system and ensures that applicants are informed about their application status in an optimal manner.
· Keeps abreast with latest developments in recruitment techniques, procedures and other technological advancements.
· Monitors market conditions on recruitment and advises the management appropriately.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills and Experience)
· Bachelor in business administration or equivalent with at least 4-6 years experience in recruitment gained preferably within an oil/ gas environment or any other large-scale industry.
· Exposure to various selection procedures is essential.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills essential.
· Good communication skills is essential.
