Educational Sales Professional
Universal Books & Creative Curricula (UBCC) has been a leading distributor of academic books and content in the English language for the past 25 years. Partnering with top international publishers, UBCC has been providing for the past fifteen years customized print and digital content for schools and universities, as well as training and support servics for instructors in educational and higher educational institutions.
UBCC is looking for an educational sales professional to be based in Amman. They will contribute by retaining and grwing business through proactive nurturing of the company’s relationships with customers and publishers. We are looking for an effective consultant who can grow the business of existing accounts and establish new business and connections.
Main duties:
- Expand the sale of educational products (English, Science & Math) to private and international schools in Amman mainly and in the Kingdom.
- Nurture the existing customer base by making school visits, offering consultancy, and acting as a liaison between schools and international publishers.
- Participate in trainings to continually acquire and enhance knowledge and skills including the training sessions held by international publishers in their home bases.
- Set and implement sales and marketing plans.
Qualifications:
- Passion and enthusiasm for books and literacy.
- Experience in publishing and/or educational sales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
- Ability and willingness to travel for trainings, trade shows, and other sales opportunities.
- Team player and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience in teaching or coordination at schools is a plus.
