JOHUD is seeking an experienced and creative videographer and photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in planning, shooting, editing, and delivering engaging video and photos that support our branding criteria. The candidate must have technical knowledge and aptitude to work with digital video and photography equipment.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as JOHUD’s primary videographer and photographer for the creation of all multimedia content.
- Conceptualize, storyboard, implement, and edit photos and videos as per JOHUD’s branding criteria.
- Cover events and provide photos/videos in real time for social media upload.
- Continuously provide photo updates for JOHUD’s website, including staging photo sessions.
- Create a smart and easy online archiving system for all of JOHUD’s pictures.
- Use various media including graphics, animations, data visualization, and music to create professional-grade content.
- Coordinate all activities and materials supporting each photographic and video shoot project.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the latest photography/videography social media trends to produce creative and modern content
Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience in videography and photography, preferably in a humanitarian or social impact setting.
- Must display a passion for both photographic and video content and a commitment to holding editorial integrity.
- Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in digital video and photography equipment.
- Strong creative vision and ability to produce visual content that aligns with JOHUD’s branding criteria.
- Experience in concept development, storyboarding, and video editing.
- Proficiency in various software including Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with humanitarian protection principles and values is preferred.
