Arab Geotech Laboratories is seeking a highly motivated and talented CAD Technician to be part of our growing team based in our Abu Dhabi office. Our drafting team offers support for all public and private projects delivering expertise for a wide range of municipal, commercial, oil/gas, and industrial clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Project planning, organization, and scheduling;

– Manage the course of projects, research records, and produce reports for Project Managers and Clients;

– Review preliminary and final drawings prepared by other CAD Techs;

– Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources, including field data, plats, and other records;

– Execute requested drawing maintenance, standards, updating, revisions, etc.;

– Collect, process, and evaluate GPS data.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*2-5 years of draftsman experience for land surveying & engineering firm is a MUST;

*2-5 years of experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/Total Station and other surveying software is a MUST;

* Microsoft office skills is a MUST

SKILLS:

– Utilize the latest AutoCAD & Civil 3D and other related software to prepare drawings and survey data for field team;

– Ability to manage project folders and files to company standards;

– Work proficiently on various projects simultaneously;

– Coordinate with various departments, including direct contact with clients to produce deliverables;

– Possible field work may be necessary;

– Requires the capability of working within a variety of industries including but not limited to, Oil & Gas, Construction & Development, and Government related projects;

– Must have excellent time management skills, be able to work within and meet project deadlines.
