What will you do in this position?
You will lead the HR Operations Cluster, with a focus on contract management, benefits and entitlements and capacity building of the local HR staff on these aspects.

How can you make a difference?
In this position, you will:
- Lead HR Operations activities and projects to meet local HR objectives for administration of contracts, benefits and entitlements, respective knowledge management and ensuring that the HR data entries and maintenance in various systems and databases is accurate and up to date.
- Identify, orient and train national staff to ensure that their capability is built in HR Operations Management, Systems and Data, equipping them with the skills and knowledge required to meet current and future challenges related to HR Operations Management (contracting, payroll, data management, benefits and entitlement administration).
- Lead and motivate a small team of HR staff, monitoring performance, providing coaching, training and guidance to ensure appropriate development and enable high performance.
- Provide effective management of the employment relationship between WFP and its national staff, by managing conditions of service, contracts and appropriate entitlements, and resolving employee relations issues as needed.
- Provide advice to management and staff on complex HR issues, understanding their needs and ensuring compliance to the respective HR rules, policies and procedures.
- Provide assistance on general HR queries and follow up actions, to ensure consistent and high-quality HR services are delivered to clients.
- Contribute to deliver HR operational activities or projects, following standard processes and ensuring alignment with wider WFP policies. Act as the main focal point for any systems changes, upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Ensure HR data in WINGS, PASport, in local tracking systems and other WFP HR systems is accurate at all times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by implementing HR policies, procedures and systems and recommending improvements to ways of working, to ensure streamlining of processes and WFP Ukraine internal stakeholders’ satisfaction with regards time-to-fill.
- Prepare any HR input related to the audit and other review missions for WFP Ukraine.
- Oversee the onboarding experience to ensure that new employees have a positive experience of WFP and are successfully integrated into their new role and the organization.
- Lead the Workday implementation for WFP Ukraine, following corporate guidance and tailoring Change Management and communication efforts to the specific context of WFP Ukraine.
- Perform other duties as required.

Education: Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of relevant postgraduate professional work experience in Human Resources, at international level. At least 2 years of managerial experience in the field of Human Resources.
Knowledge & Skills: We are looking for a dynamic, customer-oriented and agile HR Operations Team Leader who is passionate about People. Specifically, we are looking for an HR Professional with:
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge and experience of HR Information Systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors or Workday
- Knowledge of HR business processes, practices and procedures.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritize multiple stakeholder requests
Language: Fluency (level C) in English language.
