Skills and Requirements for Ticketing agent
1. Provides ticketing assistance to Corporate, MICE and VIP.
2.Used detail orient skills for booking and ticketing reservations, date changes and cancellations with refunds and EMD using Amadeus reservations system.
3. Previous experience with GDS is a must such as Amadeus, SABRE and Galileo are a must.
4. Knowledge in fare interpretation such as fare bucketing and tax and must have knowledge with in depth airline terminologies.
5. Knowledge with fare combinations and routing plans.

Job Description for Ticketing Agent:
• Provides ticketing assistance to Corporate, MICE and VIP.
• Scheduling flights based on customer needs and available flights, including checking weather conditions and making changes as needed.
• Communicating with customers to answer questions about tickets, pricing, or flight schedules.
• To issue tickets or update passenger records
• Explaining airport rules and procedures to passengers prior to boarding flights
• Processing refunds for lost or damaged tickets or reservation errors.
• Explaining applicable fees and taxes for each ticket.
