BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT: The WFP Library & Research Centre (LRC), INK Division, acts as a center for dissemination of academic, scientific, and technical knowledge within WFP and it supports WFP’s archiving and indexing of documents and publications, as owner of the corporate taxonomy and holder of WFP’s historical publications archive. The LRC also supports staff wellness by providing e-books and journals, particularly to field offices where access is limited. The LRC uses automations for information dissemination, e-book management and management of subscriptions and usage data. The selected incumbent will be expected to be responsible for adopting and managing the LRC’s automations, implemented using MS Power Automate, MS SharePoint online and UIPath, including documentation, maintenance and proactive evolution. The incumbent will also provide support to LRC staff and to patrons on usage of the digital platforms and devices. SPECIFIC TASKS: WFP Library and Research Centre, Innovation & Knowledge Management Division, requires the services of a junior consultant in carrying out the following duties:

University degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Courses in automation, MS SharePoint will be an advantage |

Fluency in written and spoken English required. Knowledge of one or more official UN languages is an asset. |
