IT Project Manager

Job purpose

The purpose of this job is to plan and oversee multiple projects under Tarjama from the initial ideation to completion, also this position will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results aligned to objectives. Moreover, this position will be responsible for non-standard orders/ bids which are not listed within the products tree and will handle the opportunity from its start to the end.

Duties & Responsibilities:

·Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously.

·Develop detailed project plans to track progress, ensuring resource availability and allocation.

·Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

·Coordinating internal resources and vendors for the flawless execution of projects.

·Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.

·Work closely with project managers, operations, and commercial teams.

·Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.

·Perform risk assessment and address concerns of clients and company staff to mitigate risk.

·Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.

·Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.

·Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.

·Report and escalate to management as needed.

·Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Education, Experience & Qualifications:

·Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or any other related field.

·(5-10) years of experience in project management.

·Excellent level of proficiency with MS Office especially in Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

·Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective.

·Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·Excellent Presentation Skills.

·Superb teamwork and interpersonal abilities.

·Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs.

·Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·Ability to lead projects of various sizes and see them through to completion.

·Excellent industry knowledge and willingness to keep up with trends.

·Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

·Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

PMP certification is a must.
