A reputable well-established UAE owned law firm is looking for a finance / operations manager.
A. Objective:
The Finance/ Operations role is accountable for overseeing a combination of task specific to:
Overall Finance / Accounts Department
Office Administration / facility Management
HR related administrative task
Maintain / Develop Company process and procedures
B. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Accountabilities and Deliverables:
Responsible for leading, transforming and ensuring optimal functioning of the key areas:
Finance and Accounting,
IT, Human Resources, Office Administration/Operations
Drive performance measures for the operations (efficiency & productivity), in the form of dashboards convenient for review of high level key indicators.
Responsible for developing strategies, to solve critical business operational challenges, to enhance the back office operations and to implement appropriate systems and controls.
Manage & oversee financial, accounting & business planning activities: strategy, targets, planning, budgets, monitoring, controls, management & reporting.
Manage & oversee procurement & logistics
Prepare and Implement policies and procedures for the efficiency of the company
Manage the time and attendance for all workforce in line with company policy and standards
Develop standards best in class enabling company to expand and grow
financial Planning, Managing Profitability, Quality Management, Promoting Process Improvement, Forecasting, Developing Budgets, Financial Skills, Dealing with Complexity.
Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
Monitors financial performance by measuring and analysing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
Generate reports and provide insights to Managing Director on trends, internal and external
Manage the Admin/HR aspects of the organization in terms of
Employee files / records per law
Time sheets/work tracker
Data management
Office administration / Supply
IT requirements
Ad hoc admin/operational requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Finance/Accounting Graduate with ICWA/CA/CPA qualifications is a must
8-10 years of strong relevant expertise as Finance Manager / Supervisor
4-5 years of operations experience in managing relevant task + industry experience
Competencies:
Familiarity with local practices / law
Have implemented finance and operational best practices
Ability to multi task and prioritize
Dealing with attention and being proactive to provide suggestions and advice
Strong financial background
Good communication skills -Self driven & results oriented -Fluent in English and Arabic
Strong leadership skills to manage team and lead with examples
Ability to implement policies and procedures
