Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Operator to join our team.

LADY applicants will be prioritized who's Fluent in ENGLISH and one additional language is preferable:

German/Dutch/Italian/ French/Spanish/Russian/Chinese/Arabic written and spoken

Independent judgment, involving applied knowledge of seamanship practices, responsibility, politeness, time management, teamwork, and passion are the essential qualities that will form a part of the ideal candidate. Work is reviewed through observation of results.

Key Responsibilities:

● Our customers’ on-board experience will be your number one priority.

● Operate the boat in a safe and efficient manner while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards

● Proactive listening to meet guests requirements with top-notch VIP service.

● Assisting boat captains with minor tasks on charters.

● Provide guidance and assistance to guests during boarding and disembarking

● Communicate with guests effectively and provide them with relevant information regarding safety, the trip, and other relevant details

● Conduct safety checks on the boat before and after each use

Experience:

● Minimum 2 years of considerable experience as a boat operator.

● Prior experience as a staff in bar service, food catering, on-deck services, VIP customer relations, etc is needed.

● Prior marina/yachting/boating/ knowledge is essential.

● Prior experience of working in a team of 7 to 10+ is required.

● Beneficial but not essential: Multilingual, Technical knowledge of marinas.

Abilities:

● Ability to react in a quick and calm attitude during emergencies.

● Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

● Ability to swim professionally. Prior ocean rescue training and First-aid training is an added benefit.

● Ability to work in different climates and weather.

● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

● Basic knowledge of the weather as it affects the operation of sea going vessels.

● Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing upbeat attitude.

● Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

● Skill in making necessary minor and emergency repairs to marine equipment and docks is an added benefit.
