Description
Translate documents from Arabic-English and English-Arabic in line with the companies communication frameworkQuality check the output of external translators and ensure consistency in qualityMaintain translation capacity log and allocate translation requests to in-house translators or external vendors based on available capacityManage the Middle East Translation pipeline: sets priorities between requested jobs, communicates time lines to Case Teams and other teams, and ensures proper internal billingDevelop and maintain the Middle East glossary that stores keywords by geography and key client
Profile
Candidate needs to have a Bachelors degree Proficient in English and Arabic to the level that would be required for legal and non legal translations At least 3 years of legal translation experience with a global law firm or within the legal division of a professional service firm (Financial service, banking or management consulting) Knowledge of iManage, Workshare preferable Good team player, can work under pressureExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise tact and diplomacyExcellent organisational skills and attention to detail
