Dance Teacher

The dance teacher will lead and mentor recreational and competitive dancers. The dance teacher will be responsible to choreograph unique routines and teach them to dance team members, observing their performance and providing suggestions for refinement.

Dance Teacher key responsibilities:

· In addition to choreographing and teaching routines, the teacher should provide technical, physical and psychological training in accordance to Gymnazia’s standardized training programs

· Ability to teach using various dance styles and methodologies from beginner to advanced level.

· Evaluate and monitor the progress of her team and vary instruction to meet the needs of individual members

· Supervises auditions for new team members.

· Conduct group and private lessons as required

· Provide a fun and creative environment.

· Communicate to key stakeholders and the community

· Maintain a professional appearance

· Assist with any other general duties within the office as directed by the Country Manager.

Dance Teacher key qualifications:

· Certification (if any)

· Minimum 3 years’ experience in coaching of recreational and professional dancers

· Strong background in the performing arts, including experience in ballet, hip hop, jazz, modern dance

· Able to present and follow choreography

· University degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or Sport Science or equivalent

· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

· Highly responsible & reliable

· Customer Service skills

· Ability to work as part of a team.
