Newly open Restaurant – Karaoke club in Dubai Marina, looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant General Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant General Manager, you will overtake a variety of responsibilities and duties such as implementing marketing strategies, recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, ensuring consistency, maintaining food cost, as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests.

Duties and responsibilities:

– Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the establishment.

– Managing staff: recruiting, training, and managing staff, including servers, cooks, and other employees. This includes creating schedules, assigning tasks, and setting expectations for employee performance.

– Customer service: ensuring that customers have a positive experience at the restaurant. This includes handling complaints, resolving issues, and ensuring that customer needs are met.

– Financial management: managing the financial aspects of the restaurant, including budgeting, inventory management, and ensuring that the restaurant is profitable.

– Menu planning: works with the chef or kitchen staff to plan menus and ensure that the food served meets quality standards.

– Safety and sanitation: ensuring that the restaurant meets safety and sanitation standards. This includes maintaining equipment, monitoring food preparation and storage, and ensuring that employees follow proper safety procedures.

– Administrative tasks: scheduling appointments, managing paperwork, and overseeing payroll.

To be successful as a restaurant manager, one must have strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. A degree in hospitality management or a related field may be preferred.

Minimum of 3 years overall experience in restaurant management or a related field.
Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
Ability to lead a group of people along with motivating them consistently.
Adept in using software like Craftable, Lightspeed Restaurant, OpenTable, Clover, and other managerial tools.
Adroit in utilizing restaurant management tools and digital software for improving overall productivity.
