Position Title: English Language Department Head

Employment Type: Full Time

Salary: up 17K AED depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation, transportation, and tuition fee discount up to 3 children

Job Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

A private co-educational K-12 day school in Abu Dhabi

Job Description:

Serve as directors of curriculum and instruction in the department of their specialized subject
Improve the quality of education in its various aspects such as curriculum development, instructional planning and implementation, assessment, professional development, and educational resources
Take part in the recruitment process as requested by the Principal by conducting interviews for candidates that focus on pedagogical content knowledge

Qualifications:

Open to Native English speakers
45 years old and below
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or Arts with specialization in English language or any related degree
At least 5 years of teaching experience preferably with an extensive experience in leadership role
Must have a Teaching diploma
Must have an IELTS with minimum score of 6 or equivalent
Must be available to join by August 2023
Open to home country experience
