الوصف الوظيفي
Responsibilities:
- Preparing weekly menus that consist of fresh, healthy and nutritious meals with consideration to the family members’ dietary needs
- Storing food items and preparing meals in accordance with food health and safety regulations
- Preparing meals for small dinner parties or special events
- Preparing lunches for work/school and snacks for the kids
- Grocery shopping and locating specialty items, such as dairy or gluten free products
- Running, arranging and organising the kitchen and pantry
- Overseeing the cleanliness, hygiene and sanitization of the kitchen and other related areas
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in culinary arts or nutrition is preferred
- At least 3 years of culinary experience is required
- Working in a similar role with a private household is desirable
- Knowledge of healthier alternative ingredients and meal preparation is a must
- Experience of cooking several cuisines such as Emirati, Indian, Levantine, Western or Asian is preferred
- Excellent organization, time-management skills and detail-orientation is required
Facilities and support
- Fully equipped kitchen with appliances
- Support in organizing and cleaning the kitchen and related areas from an experienced live-in maid, with appropriate guidance
