Information Technology Technical Support

We are looking for technically skilled candidates with excellent interpersonal skills for the technical support position. Technical support troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical assistance and support to employees either over the phone or in person, and supporting the roll-out of new applications, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure computer operating systems and applications.
  • Identifying hardware and software solutions.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults.
  • Resolving network issues.
  • Replacing or repairing the necessary parts.
  • Managing multiple cases at one time.
  • Conducting electrical safety checks on equipment.
  • Help Desk Operator.
  • Talk to staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot system and network problems.
  • Test and evaluate new technology.
  • Perform daily Network monitoring, reviewing system, and application logs.
  • Setting up accounts for new users.
  • Testing new technology.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, and information technology, or a related technology field is preferred
  • Good English is a must.
  • Certification in Microsoft, Linux, or Cisco is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in tech support, desktop support, or a similar role.
  • Good Knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications.
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good with MS Office.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
